Julian Starr, Senior Actuary

Julian is a Pensions Actuary who joined Actuaries for Lawyers in February 2024.  He has nearly 40 years of pensions experience including appointments as a Scheme Actuary and pensions consultant and also as an inhouse pensions manager.

His past experience includes working with the trustees and sponsoring employers of schemes of various sizes, of defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid form.  He has advised on pension funding, accounting and benefit design as well communicating pensions and other benefits to scheme members.
